# Channel Customization

The Channel Customization screen is your central dashboard for managing your network's lineup. This guide explains the global controls at the top of the list.

{% hint style="info" %}
This page will use the mobile app interface. This can also be done using the web UI. Learn more about the web interface on the [Web User Interface](/user-guide/advanced/web-ui.md)page.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** After customizing channels, refresh the schedule in Guide Schedule for changes to take effect.

### Sorting Method and Logic

This section determines the "flow" of your broadcast.

{% columns %}
{% column valign="middle" %}

#### Sorting Method

* *Random*: Completely shuffles all assigned content.
* *Cyclic*: Preserves episode order (e.g., S01E01 followed by S01E02) across the 8-hour blocks.
* *Block Shuffle*: Plays a random "block" of 2–4 episodes of the same show back-to-back before switching to a different series.
* *Block Cyclic*: Plays a sequential "block" of the same show (S01E01, S01E02, S01E03) before moving to the next show.

#### Enable Marathons

When toggled, there is a 3% chance the app will ignore the schedule and play a single show for 4 straight hours.

#### R-Rated Restriction

Toggling "Schedule R-Rated Content After" ensures mature content only appears during late-night "broadcast" hours.
