# Advanced Settings

The Admin tab contains core system utilities, web remote routing parameters, external Docker container syncing tools, automated database backups, and live application logs for real-time troubleshooting.

### Web Remote Interface

*Manage your NostalgiaTV experience from any computer or mobile browser on your local network.*

* Web Remote Toggle: Enable this to start the local web server.
* Connection URL: Once active, the app will display a local IP and port (e.g., `http://192.168.1.62:19850`). Simply enter this into any browser to manage your channels and schedule remotely.
* Require Authentication: For added security, toggle this to prevent unauthorized users on your Wi-Fi from accessing your setup.

### 🎬 MPV Player Configuration

Fine-tune advanced rendering behaviors when bypassing standard system video players.

* **Upload Custom mpv.conf:** Allows you to upload a localized hardware playback configuration script. *(Note: This option is locked and requires switching your active Video Player engine to MPV within the Profile Configuration menu first).*

### 🐳 Docker Container Integration(COMING SOON)

\<!--Offload intensive processing cycles, guide schedule building, and large library media indexing straight to a dedicated self-hosted Docker server instance.

* **Docker Mode:** Disables local device execution loops and switches system architecture over to a remote server environment.

When Docker Mode is active, the following cluster values open for management:

* **Server URL:** The network location target configuration for your hosted Docker container.
* **Test Connection:** Checks if the configured remote Docker server is online and responding.
* **Register Device:** Syncs your media server access credentials securely over to the container architecture to authorize data parsing.
* **Docker Server Status Panel:** Displays live diagnostic validation parameters tracking connection, device registration, and active schedule sync states. -->

#### 💾 Automatic Backup

Protects system layout states against sudden data corruption or hardware transitions.

* **Automated Weekly Snapshots:** The system automatically backs up all customized profile rules, channels, custom commercial structures, and design presets once per week, retaining a rolling maximum of 3 distinct restoration points.
* **Back Up Now:** Manually forces an instant database snapshot export.
* **Restore from Backup:** Opens the local backup selector window to roll your current application layout back to a saved state.

#### 📋 Live Application Logs

A real-time terminal window showcasing diagnostic engine traces, background processing scripts, and database access logs.

* **Log Level:** Cycles through filtering criteria (such as INFO or DEBUG modes) to isolate specific event severities.
* **Auto-scroll to Newest:** Toggles whether the terminal display automatically locks to the bottom margin as fresh event lines arrive.
* **Export Logs:** Packages the current active system log buffer into a portable `.log` file for easy diagnostic sharing.
