# Schedule

The Schedule tab provides a real-time, interactive grid view of your entire television lineup. Use this page to visualize your linear broadcast, check program alignment, and verify that your custom schedule is running exactly as planned.

#### Generating the Timeline

When you first open this tab, or after making significant changes to your channels, you may need to initialize the view.

* **Refresh Schedule:** Click this button to trigger the app to calculate the linear timeline. NostalgiaTV will process your content, commercials, and advanced scheduling logic to build a continuous 24/7 grid.
* **Refresh Library & Schedule:** Clears caches, rescans your Plex library, and rebuilds the schedule.
* **Extended View:** Users can toggle this to generate a longer schedule (up to a full week) for deeper "channel surfing".

#### Grid Interactions

The schedule isn't just for looking—it's interactive:

* Real-Time Tracking: The vertical "Now" line shows the current playback position across all channels.
* Detailed Info: Clicking any block provides the full title and exact start/end times for that program.

This is the best place to check your Time Slot alignment. If you've scheduled a specific show for 8:00 PM on Friday, you should see it "hard-coded" into the grid right here.
