# Admin

The Admin tab provides global server administration utilities, player script overrides, IPTV tuner integration, access control settings, backup recovery management, and real-time engine logging.

#### 🎬 MPV Player Configuration

Fine-tune advanced rendering behaviors for instances using alternative playback engines.

* **Upload Custom Config:** Allows uploading a localized `mpv.conf` text file to apply custom video rendering flags or hardware decoding properties. *(Note: This option requires MPV to be selected as the active player engine in your Profile Configuration first).*

#### 📺 Import M3U and XMLTV Links

Integrate external live streaming feeds straight into your virtual broadcast matrix.

* **M3U/XMLTV Toggle:** Enables the engine to ingest linear television playlist links and XML-based Electronic Program Guide (EPG) data streams from external applications like HDHomeRun (HDHR), Tunarr, DizqueTV, ErsatzTV, or standard IPTV providers.

#### 🔒 Sign-in Required

Secure your web remote console to restrict unauthorized layout or scheduling modifications on the local network.

* **Require username & password:** When toggled on, forces any network client attempting to access the web UI to provide security credentials before opening the dashboard tabs. Leaving it disabled permits open network access.

#### 💾 Automatic Backup

Protect your custom configurations, channels, and commercial rules against accidental data loss.

* **Backup History:** Displays the precise date, time, and file size of your latest stored database states.
* **Back Up Now:** Forces an immediate manual database snapshot export.
* **Restore:** Rolls your entire network configuration back to the selected historical backup point.

#### 📋 Logs

A live scrolling terminal interface that monitors active backend server operations and connection heartbeats.

* **Live Refresh:** The output buffer automatically pulls fresh data strings every 3 seconds while the tab remains open.
* **Level Filtering:** A dropdown selector to isolate logging details based on diagnostic severity (such as filtering by INFO, WARN, or DEBUG modes).
* **Line Search:** A contextual input filter box to scan and match visible strings across the log output automatically.
* **Auto-scroll Checkbox:** Locks the console text container to the bottom margin to instantly track incoming processing lines.
* **Download .log:** Compiles the current active buffer (up to a 1,000-line history) into a portable text log file for local troubleshooting or bug reporting.
